Event Description

Would you like to share about Wisdom Vacation Courses you've done? Do you want to hear what other Wisdom graduates have to say after participating in the courses?

Grab a cup of tea and call in to plan your next vacation -- the first Saturday morning of each month (March 3rd and April 7th), Wisdom Course Leaders will be hosting Vacation Course Drop-In calls.

Wisdom graduates are invited to join us - drop in, share, or hear what others have to say about being in the Wisdom Vacation Courses.

One of the best ways to find out about Transforming Yesterday's Strategies (TYS), Structural Connections, Exploring the Fulfilled Life and the Year End Vacation is to hear what people participating in them have to say about what’s happening in their lives now.

The Wisdom Course leader hosting this call will be announced soon.  Anything you want to share about will be wonderfully great!  The opening conversation for the first call in this series was about the TYS series (TYS1 & TYS2).

To give you an idea what people say about TYS1: “The course was the most intimate week of my life. In TYS, you get to be free and whole with a capacity to create your life as a human being.  My relationship with men became something I never imagined I could have.”

“Bar none, TYS is the safest space for talking about sexuality and intimacy. I came to the course thinking I had no problem with other women. During TYS, I began to notice that the men that I managed always were allowed to excel, but not the women - if they excelled, I stopped supporting them. I went home and apologized to all the women I managed. It was fabulous.”

And what they share about TYS2: "In TYS2, we were asked to select one long-term relationship and work on that for the duration of the course. I focused on my relationship with my brother. During that time, my mother was ill and my brother and I were her care givers. In the course, I discovered a question that I did not know the answer to: “When Mom dies, will we still relate?” So, I called my brother and I asked. There was a long pause. Then he responded, “Funny question, I don’t see why we wouldn’t.” All my history with my brother disappeared in that moment.”

Here’s what Marjie Parrot, the course designer & originator has to say about TYS1 & 2:

Ø  TYS explores what is fundamental to being related. What occurs for people is profound. People in the course experience a safe space in which to speak, to say what they have never said before, and to be free from what they’ve been hiding."  Click to read more from Marjie on the course and why she designed it.

Please join us soon!

Best regards, The Wisdom Course Leaders
