I was looking for a parking spot near 12th & Main on a busy Sat AM. I saw two spots open up. A woman pulled into one of them and I went for the other spot. Turns out she had not finished parking and she became upset that I had moved into that space. I tried to talk to her, but she was upset, and backed up to my car so I was boxed in. Seeing no way to resolve it, I apologized and walked away. When I came back to my car, her's was still there boxing me in. By now I needed to leave to catch the ferry. Hmmm...
At that moment...the car behind pulled out giving me room to escape. I pulled out...wishing there was some way to heal the rift. Then I remembered my commitment to you. I wrapped a $5 bill inside a note of apology and tucked under her wiper.
Her license plate was TED COM (I assume for www.ted.com), so if you ever see an SUV with that plate...
That leaves me with another fiver to distribute =:-)
